As you watch these videos about health care, which at times works about a well as our prison system and the war on drugs, it becomes obvious that many of problems with maternity care and midwifery are actually systematic. What that means is that we CANNOT make maternity care work as it should (providing health and caring!) without first fixing the bigger problem with the healthcare system as a whole.
